Celebrating its 70th year, Hazra Udayan Sangha has themed their pujo on 'birds in the lap of nature.' The street leading to the pandal near Hazra Crossing, is decorated on both sides with trees made out of fallen branches and leaves. The trees are dead and their branches dry, yet they are full of birds of a hundred colours - sparrows, cockatoos, doves, crows, kite.
